Our terms of service.

Agreement

By accessing or using MemoryBoxd (“Service,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to these Terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.

What the service does

MemoryBoxd is a video scheduling and delivery platform that lets you:

  • Upload video recordings to our secure storage
  • Schedule a delivery date for each recording
  • Have the recording delivered automatically on that date
  • Manage and track your scheduled deliveries

Your account

Creating an account

  • You must be at least 13 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Keep your Google account secure
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

Security

  • Maintain the security of the Google account you sign in with
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Keep your account information accurate

Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the service to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Violate intellectual property rights
  • Upload copyrighted material without authorization
  • Transmit spam, malware, or malicious code
  • Harass, threaten, or harm others
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Send unsolicited commercial emails

Your content

Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the videos and content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, process, and deliver your videos; create backup copies for service reliability; and display the content in your dashboard. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account, except for reasonable backup retention.

Your responsibility

  • You own or have rights to all content you upload
  • Your content does not infringe third-party rights
  • Your content complies with all applicable laws

Payment

Pricing

Pricing lives on our pricing page. We may change pricing at any time, but changes only apply to future purchases.

One-time payments

  • All purchases are one-time payments with no recurring charges
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for the purchase amount
  • Features purchased are valid for the duration specified at purchase
  • Failed payments prevent access to paid features until resolved
  • All fees are non-refundable except as specified in the Refund Policy

Refunds

All sales are final. We may offer refunds at our discretion for billing errors, duplicate charges, or as required by applicable consumer protection laws. To raise a concern, write to support@memoryboxd.com.

Service availability

We aim for reliability but can't guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Specific delivery times (scheduled times are approximate)
  • Availability in all geographic locations

Usage limits

  • Video file size (50MB for free tier, 300MB for premium)
  • Storage capacity
  • Number of scheduled deliveries per month

Intellectual property

The service, including its design and functionality, is owned by MemoryBoxd and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software or content, reverse engineer the service, or use our trademarks without permission.

DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the DMCA. Send copyright infringement notices to dmca@memoryboxd.com. Your notice must include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work
  • Location of the infringing material
  • Your contact information
  • A statement of good-faith belief
  • A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Disclaimers & limits of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MemoryBoxd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify MemoryBoxd from any claims arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or content you upload.

Termination

By you

You may terminate your account any time through settings or by contacting us.

By us

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your account has been inactive for 12+ months
  • Required by law or legal process
  • We cease providing the service

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases. We may delete your content after 30 days.

Dispute resolution

Write us first at support@memoryboxd.com. If that fails, disputes are resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, not as part of a class action.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes

We may revise these Terms. Significant changes will be noted on this page and the “last revised” date updated.
